| What a pain in the rear end it has been. After a long time, a lot of trials and taking everything apart a bunch of times, visiting the machine shop too many times, I finally finished putting the bottom end together. I pray to whatever greater being up there that I never have to take it apart. 
If you are wondering why the pistons have some marks on them, well they are the original pistons. OEM rods and pistons. And for shits and giggles, The little Civic that wanted to be a TT 
The 8.5 TT rears do fit on a 2006 Civic and clear everything without rubbing. On the front and the rear.
